A VW Vanagon, Sam, Danielle and Igor

Saturday evening Jack and I went for a bike ride. We rode down to a bridge that runs over a creek and then went on through the little hamlet. On our way back to the farmstead on Route 9, we heard a large buzz, and then we looked to our side and saw a green vanagon pass.

I said, "You think it's those kids?"

Jack exclaimed, "Arizona plate, damn right!"

He flailed his arms and the brake lights beamed. Igor popped out and offered his hand. Jack skitched a ride back to the farm and I took the alternate tree covered path.

On Sunday we daytripped up the Northway to Keene Valley. We found a mountain to climb and a placid lake to swim. Scrabble we played, and Ed we found on Monday at Grand Union. Longboarding down fresh paved cement, Danielle had a spill and proved her girth. Sing-a-longs and bean dinner.

Arizona, you're alright with me.

Farewell & goodbye drifting Leaf...
